Samsung surprises with the presence the new smartphone named Ativ S. This smartphone is the first handset that was introduced with Windows Phone 8, the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft.
Initially, Nokia is expected to introduce Windows Phone 8 mobile phones because they are the main partners of Microsoft in the smartphone industry today. But apparently Samsung comes first with Ativ S.
Although the focus of carrying Android, Samsung also uses Windows Phone production in some cell phones. With the letter S in tow, maybe Samsung wants to make Ativ S be as successful Galaxy S line of products that use Android.
"You certainly are familiar with the Galaxy S, we now also come with Ativ S that uses the operating system Windows Phone 8," Damien said Cusick, General Manager of Samsung in Berlin.
Key Specifications Ativ's like 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM 4.8 inch screen Super AMOLED HD, 8-megapixel camera and 1.9 megapixel front camera. While the battery is powerful enough to power 2300 mAh.
Samsung also features support NFC (Near Field Communication) in Ativ S. The handset also supports microSD slot. While the internal memory consists of two options, 16GB and 32GB.
Design Ativ S itself looks pretty and is wearing a metallic material, not plastic as they are used in some Samsung cell phone. Chances are, Ativ S will soon greet the market.
