| Is Cheap HTC Smartphone? |
Since the release of the series One February, HTC announced yet another new smartphone. A photo of the smartphone which is now widely circulated on websites and blogs technology, believed to be the latest smartphone HTC.
Apparently, the Taiwanese company as reported by The Verge, is ready to announce its latest smartphone, continuing the series One V that target low-end segment.
Using the code name 'Proto', this smartphone brings a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480). About design, not much different glance One V. If judging again, Proto also looks similar to the HTC One X One's a bandage and a unibody polycarbonate casing.
This Android smartphone is also equipped with a 5 MP camera and dual-core Snapdragon processor 1GHz. With a thickness of only 9.62 mm, Proto will look sleek and comfortable in the hand. Arguably, Proto is HTC One V with some updates.
HTC is expected to announce at IFA 2012 technology event in Berlin, Germany next week. Possible name had to be replaced, do not use the name Proto.
At the same event, as is known, his rival Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 2. Thus, HTC looks like it needs to release a low-end smartphone segment in order to grab the attention of the public in the event.
HTC is known as arguably the premium brand. Phones that release is always priced above the range of USD 2 million. But lately, HTC reportedly considering to slam the price to attract customers.
